Dani Falls To Clijsters
Daniela's singles tournament at the Australian Open came to an end on Friday night, as she fell to defending champion Kim Clijsters, 63 62. Daniela had just beaten Clijsters at the lead-up event in Brisbane two weeks ago, but Clijsters got revenge with a straight set win, winning eight of the last 10 games from 4-3 up in the first set to move into the fourth round.
The Australian Open isn't over for Daniela yet, however - she and Agnieszka Radwanska are No.8 seeds on a mission in the doubles event. In the first round they rolled over Anna Tatishvili and Anastasiya Yakimova, 61 60, and on Saturday they did even better against Tamira Paszek and Jasmin Woehr, 60 60.
They play their third round match against No.11 seeds Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci on Monday.
