Dani Falls To Paszek

Daniela's second tournament back from a foot injury ended in a second round defeat on Wednesday, as she lost to Tamira Paszek in a see-saw battle at the AEGON International, 64 36 61.

For almost two hours Daniela battled last year's Wimbledon quarterfinalist, losing the first set 6-4 but bouncing back with an early break in the second set and taking that one, 6-3; the third set started off close, with Daniela holding a break point in the first game, but Paszek held on and eventually ran away with it. The Austrian finished with 10 aces to one double fault.

Daniela was playing just her third match back after missing the entire clay court season.
